Description
I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. My elementary school years were spent on this block between 12th and 13th Street on Prospect Park West. I lived many places in Brooklyn in the 21 years I lived there but in my heart of hearts this block was and will always be home. I still remember the names of all my childhood friends and exactly which window belonged to them. We sat on those stoops and played endless summers games on those sidewalks. This is where we started out as mere buds on trees and blossomed, slowly but surely we were cast to the winds of life until not one of us remained, except in our hearts and memories.

Wonderful photo and I enjoyed the walk down memory lane with you Lilliana. I think it is important we all remember where we came from. Great perspective and point of view of the street. I like that I can see the architectural detail on the buildings.

Thank You Karen, it's a very special piece I will probably buy and hang in my home.
