Description
In July of 2012 thousands of faithful flocked to a tree on a sidewalk in a commercial area of West New York, NJ to witness and worship the appearance of an image of Our Lady of Guadalupe. She is revered in both Mexico and Ponce, Puerto Rico where she has been documented as having appeared to the faithful.

What a miracle!
Lilliana Mendez replied:
The town of West New York in NJ has gated the tree with a high fence to protect it from vandals. The faithful still come and leave flowers and light candles at the base of the tree. One time one of the candles set the tree on fire, but miraculously indeed did not damage the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe. I will have to revisit since it is literally just blocks from where I live and photograph the enshrined tree.
